Restore the settings from your old iPhone

Once you arrive at the Set Up iPhone screen on the phone, select Restore from iTunes Backup. Then connect your iPhone 6 into your computer. iTunes will recognize that you’ve plugged an iPhone into your computer; it will ask you if you want to set up as a new phone or restore from a backup. (This is the same prompt you received when you plugged in your old iPhone for the first time.)

In this instance, you’ll want to restore from your backup. Select “Restore from a backup of (you old iPhone’s name) and the pull down will indicate which backup you’ll be drawing from. If there are multiple name in the list, select the name of your old iPhone, the one you backed up in the previous session. Confirm that the “Last Synced” time corresponds with the time you backed up your old iPhone, and then click the Continue button.
